Tioman and Malacca

Just came back from Tioman and Malacca trip.

The word "awesome" is an understatement. First day was spent mostly on road I must say. By the time we reached tioman, it was late at night. Though we did some star-seeing, nothing much on that day.

Second day was incredible. We took a boat to travel the surrounding tioman island. First stop was the waterfall. We went up the mountain for quite a bit and without any hesitation, I removed my clothes and plunged into the deep waterfall. Diana (from columbia) and Setche (Cameroon) climbed to the top of the waterfall into the jungle. They were up there for so long I thot they lost their way or had some accidents. It got me so worry. Fortunately, they were safe and sound. And yeah...I took a plunge into the sea from the pier as well. It was fun, but I guessed I did the wrong way caused I hurt my stomach. No harm was done! Next up, we went to a beautiful beach where we had our lunch. I would say we had we didnt have time to do anything much there though Diana got the time to plunge into sea. The thrid pit stop was the snorkeling place. It was awesome. It was my first experience doing snorkeling. The locals told me that the sharks are not dangerous cause they live in warm-sea and they don't attack humans. Well, I were not entirely convinced. So, I was a bit anxious. But, it turned out to be fine. Ireneus (german) even went to the deserted jungle across the sea where we snorkel. It took up the whole day and I spent the entire evening in the boat watching sunset with my feet in the water. At night, we played dart and the person who lost must sing. Luckily, it was Kirsi (Finnish). Heng! I am bad in singing. But in the end, we had so much fun with the locals there. We partied and sang songs till morning. We even went around the forest collecting woods to make camp fire which lasted for 30 minutes becoz all people are darn tired.

The next day got a bit interesting. After the tiring night, I woke up early in the morning to go trekking in the mountain. We came across scorpion which was really gigantic. Setche was so keen on touching it. Lol! Anyway, we later came across this beautiful waterfall again. And so, we decided to abandone the trail and clambered up the slippery stones to the mountain top. We finally reached into the core of the jungle and I took so many incredible pictures. We found an empty cave, but I didnt get it because it got me creepy. We decided to make a U-turn and start going down so that we woul have time to prepare to leave for Malacca.

Now, the interesting part came. We cannot find the trail. In my head was "Voi Paska!" We for sure lost our way. I got quite worried at first. There seemed to be so many places with small opening, seemingly the trail we took. But we cant find the way. So, we keep on going down, knowing nowhere we were going this time. Until, I came across pipes. These pipes must be used to carry the water to the village. So, we followed these pipes because the waterfall lead to many different directions and we might end up in the other part of the island. We glided thru the gigantic slippery stones again and again. Then we decided to converge into a small path. Ireneous was in front and he walked past a small path and apparently a bee-hive was there. Setche who walked behind him got stung. I ws behind setche and started to see 2 to 3 bees stated coming out. I screamed on top of my voice to signal Diana and Ling Zhu to run and climb the stones as fast as they can before all the bees swarmed at us. I was frantically grapping the stones nearby and rushed as fast as I could. Fortunately, the bees didn't see us as threat. I didnt know if they followed steche and ireneus. I just remembered to run and run. When I didnt see any bees behind me, I slowed down. Setche discovered an opening like a river. I was excited and anxious at the same time because it might lead us to the resort or any village. But, if it didnt lead us anywhere, then there might be alligator nearby because they are known to roam freely in the place where salt and mountain water meet. I took my sandals, moving against the torrent of sand, current and muds. Everyone moved slowly, until I felt something sharp got into my skin. Stream of blood started oozing out and Ling Zhu told me to get out of the river because I might catch infection with open wounds. So, ireneus, setche and diana went on to get help if there was any. Luckily, it lead to the resort we came from. They brought canoe to fetch me up so that I wont get into contact with water.

This experience was truly amazing. One that I will not forget for my life.

The next day, we went to malacca and we visited many historical places. There were so many funny stories and the entry will be too boring by then. Overall, it is my best experience for travelling.

Malaysia Trip

Hey...

I know it is strange that I didnt update my blog when exams are over. But I had been preety busy lately, wif all the packing and shifting of my belongings from one place to many other places. So thankful to those who are willing to accomodate me and my stuff.

B4 I mentioned anything abt my trip, I must say that I am gg to miss all my exchange frens. Carly just went back to Canada. Justin is going back soon. Yuta is back in Japan. And soon, Cat is going back to UK. I am so gonna miss them. It had been 2 semesters and I am quite close to them, esp Cat! We studied together during sem 1 and went out. Haiz! How I wish they can spend another year here.

Back to my trip, I just came back from genting highland with people from Buddhist Society. Well, I missed my 0204 outing and I am really sorry for that.

Talking abt the genting trip, I had a great deal of fun time. First day was spent in themepark mostly. It was friggin' cold down there, and I thot the normal sweater will suffice, I was wrong. And thanks to the weather, I took so much food that I can feel the additional adipose tissues (ie fats) just beneath my skins ( Oh no!!!!)

At night, I went to Genting Casino (NOT TO GAMBLE!) but to see what's really going on in there. As per normal, I was stopped by the security guards who thot I am below 21. It always happen. Maybe I appear too 'teenager'. Seriously, nothing is really special there.

We watched Spiderman 3 at 1 am and I slept at 4.30 am. It is not really my new record though, worse has happened b4.

Second day was spent in the Mahayana temple. It was AWESOME, I wished I could upload the photos now, but something is wrong with my SD card.

Anyway, I am looking forward to other trips ahead. Overall, two thumbs up for the trip!

short update

It has been some time since the last time I posted here.

The past few days have been all abt going out to town with frens and enjoy myself.
I watched Partition yesterday, awesome is an understatement. Must watch if u have the chance.

I am leaving with my frens for holiday soon.

Anyway, I am in no mood to post anything right now, coz I have been very tired.
