falling sick
it started off with mild headache. I went to sleep to get recharged.
I woke up...heavy headache + stormy stomach
Vomitted all the food I ate before I slept.
It was getting worse...bodyache set in and high fever.
My mom lemme took chinese medication and the fever disappeared in 4 hrs time.
And bodyache is here to stay for at least a few days.
haiz...
I realized that my prev entries can be very negative.
New yr resolution: stay positive and stay mindfull of what I am saying (which means trying to shut up a bit :p) Love my parents and family without excessive attachment. Be grateful and be in the present. Developing meditation skill is another thing I wanna develop. Rejoice!

home sweet home
Camp
It was interesting. I had an indepth knowledge on Buddhism and certain misconceptions I had were erased. Though it was tiring, it is worth it. I found peace and calmness for the past 4 days without any craving for wordly things, such as my ipod, my laptop, my msn and my friendster. 4 days and yet I didn't get bored. Really interesting.
Home sweet home
Just came back from Spore. The town didn't change much. Maybe I change. I got the feeling of change in the house atmosphere. Impermanence. That's we are about.
Haha....that's all for now, feeling tired after shopping with my mom.

worn out but worth it

trip to kl
First, we planned to go to redang. But since it is monsoon season now, we changed our mind. Heard that the place will be totally inundated, so no point of going there.
Instead we went to Kl. Ok lemme try to recall everything. We took bus from Spore. there are 11 of us. I slept all the way like a pig. That's becoz I didnt sleep the prev night. Upon reaching, we checked into the hotel and went to pyramid to shop. I didn't buy much except for spongebobsquare pants. We watched Royal Casino at night, it was nice.
The trip to lagoon is the highlight of the trip I guess. I really had so much fun and so did my frens. We played lots and lots of attractions and caused so much commotion. haha....I loved walking and playing in the rain, it has been since forever. Lol...anyway, we were totally soaked by wet ride and the rain. SO MUCH FUN.
At night the guys went to play pool and the gals just hanged out in cafe before we watched our 2nd movie, dejavu. OK lar...
The third day: hmmm....we went to klcc and waited for Danny for almost 1 hr plus, if not more. We then shopped, I bought a nike t-shirt which I think look nice. No worry, it is charged in my parent's credit card, I ain't gonna pay a cent. But being nice, I controlled myself of buying a piece only. hehe....At night, we ate at the alor with Jian and Danny, so there are 13 of us now. Afterwards, we chilled out in the hollywood cafe at sungei wang district. It's an Orchard for bustling city of KL btw. nice nice nice
I think that's the short update, there are so many exciting things happening it's not possible for me to describe in words. We will plan more in future. Love such a trip.

so many things have been happening
Prince William is gg to propose to her fiance to be his prospective princess.
Madonna rocks the world with her adoption and Britney makes headline news for her divorce.
Paris Hilton is still partying as usual.
But out of this few elites cycle, there are millions of people suffering out there. The durian typhoon killed so many ppl in Philippines, the war in Iraq is unsettled [I saw a gross picture of bloody explosions posted in the internet] and African countries re sitting on the ticking time bomb of starvation. Seems like beyond my comfort zone [which I sometimes think can be better], there are true sufferings. What had they done to deserve that? Truely, I am angered. I shouldn't complain more of my life. I hope I can work in UN one day if I really don't have any options in mind to help alleviate this problem. I wish I could.
I am thankful I am born in a state where I can live sufficiently enuf each day to care much of my affairs and to pay attention to the world. I am thankful I am able to practice dharma in this life. I really want to sustain it or not improve it. I think it's true that ppl are easily contended and we don't mind suffering [short-term one]. I wish we can escape this cycle and move to nirvana. But attachments are everywhere, from family to wealth to health to religion to food to clothes to cars to house to escaping from problems to everything. We choose to live with it and i choose to live with it.
We are living in Samsara, and I know God alone can't help us. It is a harsh reality I need to live with and a harsh reality I need to breakaway.
