haiya
i decided to blog after getting so bored...in fact i'm bored out of my skull. I watched ultraviolet just now. it was not as wonderful as i thought. so so...
then, i've got nothing to do. I slept for the whole day after i arrived in spore. In spore, i found my life is boring. All my friends are either in army or working to earn money. SO here i am, stuck at home and got nothing to do. I missed my home. At the same time, i missed being a student, rushing to school because everslept, taking bus 12 or 38, complaining about homework and class tests, talking to friends in library, seeing the person i want to see and having lunch wif friends.
so wats my plan? i don't have any

hometown
Erlin asked me to write 5 weird things abt me and I can't find any. I don't have any weird habit lar,so erlin, too bad ok!!! :)
The day b4 i went bck, i slept at arnd 2 am+ becoz i was busy reading the memoirs of a geisha. Then, I felt so tired when i woke up at 545 to catch my flight back. Anyway, not at all surprisingly, my luggage exceed the permitted weight of 25 kg [i got 29.6 kg]. So, the woman at the counter decided to fine me, otherwise, i needed to unpack my luggage. I was too lazy anyway, so i paid $21 b4 i could get my boarding pass.
I ate at burger king outlet inside changi airport alone. The waitress gave me the wrong burger, the one with beef. So, I asked for an exchange and she was very friendly and helpful. I really think that some shopkeepers, such as the one at guess and other outlets, must go for GEMs becoz the one at burger king went for such a course and i was very pleased with their service.
1st day:
Upon reaching Polonia airport:
The arrival hall was completely burnt due to short circuit, allegedly. So, the small and pathetic departure hall has to be partitioned so as to allow int passengers to collect their luggage or to stamp their passport. So sad. Anyway, I walked out the airport without any clue where to get my luggage. And then, i have to walk into the airport again to get my luggage. Sigh!
Home:
Nothing much to do also. I practised something since I had stopped doing so for 2 weeks. I don't want to get rusty. In the afternoon, we went to one alternative doctor. Then, I went to swim wif my cousins. [the yoga lesson i introduced to my cousin and aunty wasn't good, they gained weight instead. so i dont plan to join the class :) they are the guinea pigs lol]. Afterwards, we went to have dinner at one thai restaurant. My cousin kept complaining abt her bf. terrible lar him. but i shan't interfere.
2nd day:
Woke up early today, though unwillingly, and in the afternoon i went to my aunt's place to have lunch and later on to market to eat es campur just to find out the place is closed alredi. I went home again and had dinner outside at sun plaza. We ate at this food outlet, quite nice but the service is slow. I went to my grandmom's place and my grandaunt is very sick. My granduncle from china comes back here for holiday after so many yrs. He didn't change much lar and his chinese is terrible. He was prev from hongkong, so i guessed his cantonese must be much better.
The wonderful little cith of medan was engulfed in darkness due to blackout. PLN is not doing a good job and it is planning to increase the electricity cost by 10% instead of 100% planned prev. I didn't like the way the govt is doing things. They are not effective and ppl's standard of living, esp the impecunious, are much worse off. Unemployment rates hit all-time-high at an unprecedented 40 millions ppl. RIDICULOUS. While some ppl can afford to send their children overseas, some impoverished farmers or peasants are having so much hard time that they don't have enuf to eat. I'm quite disillusioned wif the authorities. Everything becomes so ex- becoz the authorities limit import from china and other cheap countries. Business is as bad as the post 1998-MAY-RIOT. URGH! cant believe it.
Evil and wicked ppl:
Some ppl are very evil in the sense that they steal everything from other ppl thru unscrupulous methods. I don't want to name how becoz it's too evil for me to say and i feel it's sinful to do so. I really pity these ppl. They think they can bring everything they steal with them for3ver? well, too bad, the answer is no coz life is not eternal. I don't know how to hate this kinda ppl and i dunno whether they deserve to be hated by me. I shan't bother this kind of person anyway. Hope that they will soon discover what they did are erroneous, though the damage done to some ppl may be irrevocable.
Feel tired now, I shall end my entry now...no swimming today btw.

He tried to put up make up and all sorts of accesories, but he still failed to conceal his true identity. Anyway, i don't really care. I was very irritated wif e hmv security man. He keeps staring at me like i'm gg to steal something.

open house
I woke up very early today arnd 845 and I thot i will for sure be late for the meeting. So I sms-ed LP and asked them to go ahead 1st, and met them at boonlay mrt. Then u know what, i was somehow AMAZED that i reached there 1st...they were still at outram mrt stat. BQ was late...extremely late...and we missed the talk on some courses i'm interested in.
NTU:
The open house was ok...but not that engaging. I don't feel any vigour coming from the students there. Then I saw chanel and jia. They whispered to me :"haiya, i think we will be gg to NUS lar." Haha, I think NTU hardly attracts students who qualify to go to its rival. Then, I went to the auditorium and met Wil. He didn't quite change, just that he spoke more politely, like those kind of noble man u knoe. And...I'M SURPRISED THAT I AM TALLER THAN HIM NOW. but still shorter to the rest of my classmates. haha.....he asked me to vote for him for poster competition, I gave him the highest mark although the prc girl beside him did a much better job. I'm sorry to say that i'm biased lar. but too bad...
Went to the canteen and saw Zhong Hua. He's like so shocked when he saw me. I think he cant recognize me at all, coz he's like frowning and trying to settle himself. He thot I had mistaken him for someone else wif the same name. lol...
Then we went home finally
NUS:
Not bad. I saw many tjcians (yr 2 and 3) in the auditorium where the exhibition was held. Not bad lar the open hs. The staff was very helpful. I met few tjcians and we chatted abt the course stuff. But i cant attend the talk and other display becoz i needed to rush back. I went to my bro's boarding sch. His hand is fractured, so I need to carry his stuff. We went back to my guardian's place and then we went to makan. After that, the downpour was bad and so was the lightning. I was drenched very badly and we went to the airport finally and met his friend who will be gg back too.
I expect more things to do tonite. sigh!

left medan sadly and nervously. On the plane, did nothing, not even eating...Silk air was understaffed...the service was slow and I wasn't enjoying myself at all. Upon reaching, I went to my aunty's place. Ate my lunch at 2 pm, then I settle some stuff for bank. I went back to guardian's place. She saw me, my housemate also saw me and guardian's sons all asked me :"so how was your result?"

Woke up very early, though I couldn't sleep the other night. Then, I went to school. Saw no familiar faces in the bus I took. I got very nervous until I stepped into the school compound. Saw mrs.Leong 1st..."I'm nervous!!!"..."You did quite well, you got both As for Maths and FMaths, the rest I dont know!"
Then came the familiar voice of Mr.Tong...all students were invited into the hall. Then they gave the brightsparks package and yearbook. It was a total letdown for the yearbook. I mean they could charge us more to get a better quality one, we are leaving the college anyway, so we wont get the chance to get another yearbook.
Then the principal flashed the students with 3As and 4As. Although the college did very well in terms of no of ppl with 3As and 4As, physics tutors told me that the quality grades dropped a bit and they were disappointed. My class did very well. Almost all ppl got into the list...I'm quite satisfied with my GP result, which was much better than Prelim. Then we thanked and talked to all the tutors, then we left happily.

Nothing happening, talking to myself at home. thinking of what to write for my essays and so on...but I chatted wif Lan Anh at night coz she just reached spore. Very nice toking to her again.

Went to some open house and to my utter disappointment, I saw so few tjcians. No single yr 3 ppl. Lucky, I went with my brother. Then, we went to watch movie entitled final destination 3. Gruesome but nice graphic. The storyline is non-sense, if u escaped death, it means u survived and prolly coz u have done good things to avoid ur early, miserable death. It won't come hunting you and more ludicrously, won't come giving u hints(thru pictures) how ure dying and hus will die first among those who survived.
Then, we went to shop and shop. I spent around $300+ for my mom's and sister's items ONLY. And I;m not talking abt spending money for myself. See good boy :)
What else did we do? forget! oh ya!!! when i went home, my cousin told me about a boy from vj, very sad! education system and society mindset here are terrible...

woke up at like 1.00+. My bro was obviously cant follow my diet pattern. He was complaining and dragging me off my bed. So, we went to eat and then we went to temple to pray. Saw his friends (both from tj)and we chatted abt tj things and dats it. went to buy books also for my bro and we ate at KFC. He gotta left early becoz of curfew.

Went to tj to meet ms kwan. Ask her to help me write recommendation letter. Then ask the GO ppl to certify my things. I went to hub and saw Mellisa, we chatted and chatted and chatted. One good thing abt graduating from tj is dat we got to enter the staff room like it's our privilege....quite nice becoming teachers i guess!

Went out wif my bro...we went to watch movie the Pink Panther at Orchard cineleisure. Afterwards, We went to HMV. I bought the soundtrack for movie "Walk the Line" where lucky Reese Witherspoon won her 1st oscar. [I think charlize steron or fellicity huffman should win] But the songs are very nice. I'm in love with rock'n'roll by j.cash and june carter. I also bought the book Memoirs of a Geisha and it only costs me 10.50, cheap rite?
Afterward, we went for dinner at Lucky plaza. It's an indonesian restaurant and the food is damn nice. Not so ex also! Then my bro went home becos of curfew again!

Went back to school to collect letter of recommendation. I saw ms kwan, and she thot that i dont want to see mrs kay becoz mrs kay told her she never met me despite the fact i went to sch so often...then i told her i just realised mrs kay is doing relief teaching and i talked to her. I dunno y, but i always feel good whenever i talked to my tutors, esp mrs kay and ms kwan. Guess, they are the closest teachers that i ever have.
Then, ms kwan and ms ng took us to lunch. I met Lan Anh, Tuan, Gaya, Alex and Royston. We had lunch together and keep on chit-chatting. Then, my mom interrupted the lunch with the usual phone call, and there's this bad news. [I;m not gg to share]...but I somehow dont feel worried. then we continue to have lunch. Ms Kwan treated us (thank you so much at crystal jade) and we went to buy bubble tea at ms.ng's aunty's store. The oreo blended with milk is mouth-watering( completely tantelizing). Even my fully-filled stomach can't resist the temptation! We drank and we went back to tj. Btw, Mr Tong's car is downright ugly to me. In medan, it's dubbed the kua-ca car, aka the coffin car. LOL...but no offence!
Then, Lan, Tuan, Alex and I went to town. In the mrt, tuan and alex did a lotta disgusting things...I am too ashamed to share lol...then Lan, Tuan and I rushed to F.J Benjamin to fix my sister's watch. The place is totally secluded [but the building and the ppl are nice] We reached there 5 minutes before it closed. Actually we got lost half-way...
Then we went to suntec city for IT fair...they are showcasing the same old things yeta again. Lan bought camera...Alex joined us again after seeing his mom. Then, we went for dinner at food court in city hall. Tuan and Alex decided to go to tj for o-nite. Since neither Lan nor I is interested, both of us went to catch a movie, the date movie. So Lame!!! not funny!!! not worth my money too!!!After the movie, I went back to tanah merah and she went back to clementi.
